love list: spring edition (yosemite photos from this past weekend)

Sometimes there's absolutely nothing better, then writing, to get the things swirling about in your head, out.

bullet point time! :D

• Tonight: ... is the first Tuesday night I've had off in over 2.5 months. heaven. my laptop, this album playing, and embroidery!
• Spring: ...gives me such fantastic joy in the core of my being. There's not much better then blooms in almost every knack of the world I live in, and warm sunshine casting it's warmth on my arms and legs, shorts and tanks, chalk on the side walk, later sunsets, campfires, & hiking. ( photos of Yosemite with my Mom from this past weekend included)
• Life: ...I'm in love with where my life is right now... some of you may think, "?! Rachel, you're going through divorce, your heart is broken, pain comes so naturally these days, your entire life was thrown for a loop dee loop...." I hear you... I do :D but I am a VERY positive person, and I tend to not just see my cup full, but overflowing. I find joy in such very small things in life. and I just really like my life right now. Not I love it. I lovebeing comforted by our gracious heavenly Father, I love having a "2nd chance" to do things right next time, I love that soon, ( June 19th) my life will open up in a way it never has before, and I'll get to make choices and start down a new path. I will get to do life over.
• Peace: ...my heart, as happy as it is, hurts and longs for reconciliation, comfort, hugs, to be cherished, little ones running about and lots of other things. But I have complete peace about these things. I know the Lord will bless my choices, my obedience and my love for Him, in my future.

bringing back the LOVE LIST!!!!!!!!!

Six things to be SO thankful for in the Sixth month of the year:

1. My amazing husband, Tuesday night was amazing, Farmers Market, Boba, Doughnuts, Holding hands, Home made Pizza, candlelight dinner, Italy Puzzle. Wednesday afternoon I came home to these:
This morning as I was making our whole wheat french toast, drizzled in organic maple syrup, strawberries and organic powdered sugar :) My husband came into the kitchen and said, " I appreciate you, thank you for making my breakfast."
:D I AM BLESSED!!!!!!!!

2. My family. My dad sent me a text the other day that said this, " Rach, my heart is SO full of love for you!" while talking on the phone with me this morning and said, " You are so great at appreciating the little moments in life, don't loose that."
My sister, is about 7 days away from her last day of her 4th year of teaching. I'm SO proud of her... she's great.


3. Three months till we hike half dome!!!! I CANNOT wait to get to the top of that rock again!


4. Three weeks till we leave on our vacation!!!!! We'll be headed to Washington, Idaho, and my favorite, Montana!

5. My first sale on ETSY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to my dear friend who made a custom order, I was asked to be free and create, and i did :) Thanks for the artistic freedom Justine. It was a joy and blessing!!! I created her a Noah Head Band titled, " My heart is stitched to yours." Made in honor of her soon to be born son Noah.
It's going off to Tahoe in the mail today!!!
I'll take ANY custom orders in my shop! Mother Daughter head band sets, baby head bands... etc.

#1: Nothing warms me and my throat

#2: Friends, this time of year is a wonderful

time to have friends over and enjoy going

to coffee on a cold evening with a friend.

#3 Fabric Stores/ Fabric: I was in Joanne's yesterday

picking out the fabric for the Christmas gifts I'm making

this year and it really excited me!

#4: The fact that Christmas is just around the corner

if you know me well, or want to know me better, you'll

know/learn that I absolutly am CRAZY about Christmas,

Morgan, I totally LOVE that you're putting your tree up

next week... that's just lovely. :)

#5: Dresses, with boots, tights and a cute coat, what

would be more fall like!?

#6: House Slippers: I love them so much, i'll give you a

cute example: Tonight I was getting dinner ready and my husband

walked in and demanded I take off my shoes, he put my slippers

down and told me he didn't want my feet to get cold :)

He knows how much I love them, what a wonderful husband I have!

#7: Soft Thick Quilts/ Blankets: Need I say more?

#8: Starbucks has a new drink out this season, and I'm

hooked! Truffle Espresso. Try it.

#9: Stockings/ Tights, SO FALL! So cute!

#10: Hats. I boughts a neat hat at Ross a few days ago

it's tweed, rail road(ish) and I love it, I'm not usually a hat

person, but I'm trying, thanks to Amy Beth who wears hats

often, and beautifully.

#11 Boots: I SO long for a cute pair of flat boots
