Life lately

Life has been rich lately. Lots of sunshine, tanning, swimming, festivals, and trips. We went out of town to see my family Easter Weekend. Rory met my Momma for the first time & my brother Layne and His wife Jen. Friday night my pop & I took Rory to our favorite Mexican food place. We  also really enjoyed going to the coast, Santa Cruz to be exact, for the afternoon. We rode the giant dipper & played on the bumper cars at the Boardwalk! Which of course had to be accompanied by a corn dog & garlic fries. We strolled around Dt and enjoyed the sc hippies. We had Easter brunch with my mom and bbq'd sundaes night with my whole family.

I'm really looking forward to this summer. Feels like summer here, it was 94 yesterday! Our summer is going to be filled with swimming, Bbqs, smoothies, farmers markets, hiking & lots of lake time. What a great summer we have planned!

A day at the lake with the man of my dreams

Rory has the week off, so we took the "kids" (dogs) up to manzanita lake up in North Fork. We enjoyed sun bathing, Rory took a dip in the cold water, we boulder jumped and hiked a bit, and Rory fished. The weather was on and off chilly a bit of sun popping through. Overall a lovely monday off!

Weekend with Popa

My papa came down to spend the weekend with me and meet Rory for then first time! We enjoyed antiquing, dinner with the boyfriend, we shared so many laughs, and stories. Lots of tears as I shared the wonderful gift I had found in the man my Dad would meet the Next day. I took my Dad to the restaurant where I first met Rory. He was tickled! We needed this weekend my Dad & I. It renewed in us both Hope. For the future, for what's to come. God is a good and faithful God. He rebuilds the broken, makes beauty out of ashes. My Dad, brought to tears, heard that hope in me.

Life according

Life is a journey. I've been on and off sick for about 2 months now... I finally feel like im on the tail end of it. Praise God. But I've still enjoyed God's blessings through it all. Enjoy the photos.

My sweet Valentine

The sunday prior to Valentines Day, Rory's boss, called and told him He'd e going out of town, about three hours away, to Oakland for the week. This of course,  made me so sad thinking I'd spend our first Valentines days alone. My heart hurt, but Rory assured me, he'd make me feel special, even from three hours away. And make me feel amazing, did he! I woke up Valentines day, and around 7, for work, and saw a text something like this, " When you rise, check the entry way." I bolted and looked outside and found 6 long stem res roses on my porch. Included in that was a love poem Rory wrote for me and a gift certificate for the nicest spa, for an hour long massage! Something I'd been mentioning I'd been wanting, for awhile! He heard me and blessed me abundantly by buying me that gift card. Little did I know what else He had in store for that day. He sent another dozen red roses to my work. And at around six o clock I got a knock on the door. My handsom boyfriend stood at my door with even more red roses! He drove three hours back to Fresno to take me to dinner.... He said as I hugged Him, "You really didnt think I'd miss our first Valentines Day did you?" He took me to the restaurant where we met, and we shared an amazing steak dinner. I feel, to this day, almost a month later... Amazingly cherished. God keeps whispering His love for me, through my sweet Rory. Thank you Jesus for your gifts.
